This excursion gives you an opportunity to see 2 capitals of Montenegro: Cetinje and Podgorica. The travelling starts from visit to the museum city, Cetinje, founded in 15th century. Cetinje is an ancient capital of Montenegro where you can see the Cetinje Monastery built in 1484. Along with the city itself it is considered a symbol of independence of Montenegro. In the Cetinje Monastery some of the most famous Christian relics are kept: a part of the cross, on which Jesus Christ was crucified, and St. John the Baptist’s hand that was a gift from the Russian emperor Nikolay II to Montenegro. Then go visit the largest city in Montenegro – Podgorica. Its main landmark is the Millennium Bridge. Here you will also see the Vladimir Vysotsky monument who visited Montenegro twice. Next to this monument there is a pedestrian Moscow Bridge, one of three pedestrian bridges in Podgorica, created by two cities – Moscow and Podgorica.

Vysotsky monument is not the only Russian monument in the city, you may also find the Alexandre Pushkina and his wife, Natalya Goncharova, monuments. Take time to have a walk along the central street of Podgorica, Hercegovocka. Having visited the capital, set off to the Skadar Lake, the largest lake in the Balkans. Stay in the oldest fishermen’s village Vranino, founded back in the 13th century. Here you can visit the museum and have lunch in one of the best restaurants on the Skadar Lake. After lunch, take a two hour cruise across the lake and watch the most beautiful water-lilies and a wide range of birds living in that place. By the way, the Skadar Lake is the only place in Europe where Dalmatian pelican lives! Pass by the island which is a prison Grmozur and an old fortress Lesendro, and take a swim in the clear lake water.
